Digital products are not governed by this Policy.

Digital services are covered separately under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

2. GENERAL POLICY PRINCIPLE

Due to the technical and electrical nature of signage raw materials, products sold by Ainan are subject to strict return and warranty conditions.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

Sold goods are generally non-returnable after delivery, opening, installation, usage, modification, or physical handling beyond reasonable inspection.

Return or replacement eligibility depends strictly on this Policy.

3. PRODUCT DELIVERY ACCEPTANCE

Delivery shall be deemed accepted when product is:

  • delivered to buyer
  • received by buyer representative
  • received by transport receiver
  • accepted at delivery address
  • collected from pickup point

Risk may transfer upon delivery unless otherwise required by law.

3.1 Inspection Responsibility

Buyer must inspect products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Inspection should include:

  • outer packaging condition
  • quantity verification
  • visible physical damage
  • missing items
  • obvious manufacturing defects

Delayed inspection increases claim risk.

4. ELIGIBLE RETURN / REPLACEMENT CASES

Return or replacement may be considered only in limited circumstances.

Potential eligible cases include:

  • wrong product shipped
  • wrong quantity delivered
  • major transit damage
  • dead-on-arrival product
  • manufacturing defect identified within valid claim window
  • missing item in shipment

Eligibility remains subject to verification by Ainan.

4.1 Verification Requirement

Ainan may require evidence before approving claims, including:

  • unboxing video
  • product photos
  • packaging photos
  • invoice copy
  • serial number
  • batch details
  • technical test proof

Without sufficient evidence, claims may be rejected.

5. NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

Products shall generally be non-returnable in situations including but not limited to:

  • used products
  • installed products
  • damaged products
  • modified products
  • custom-cut materials
  • opened consumables
  • partially consumed products
  • products damaged by buyer

Non-returnable status applies even if product is no longer required by buyer.

5.1 Change of Mind

Returns are generally not accepted for:

  • change of mind
  • wrong buying decision
  • project cancellation
  • customer cancellation
  • over-ordering
  • no longer needed
  • found cheaper elsewhere

These do not constitute product defect.

6. TRANSIT DAMAGE CLAIMS

Products damaged during shipping may qualify for replacement or claim review.

6.1 Claim Window for Transit Damage

Transit damage must be reported within: 24 to 48 hours of delivery

Delayed reporting may result in rejection.

6.2 Required Evidence

Transit damage claims should include:

  • package photos
  • damage photos
  • delivery label
  • unboxing proof video (preferred)
  • invoice reference

Failure to provide reasonable evidence may weaken claim eligibility.

7. DEAD ON ARRIVAL (DOA)

Certain electronic products may be eligible for DOA claim if they are non-functional immediately upon delivery and before installation misuse.

Examples may include:

  • power supplies
  • controllers
  • adapters
  • electronic modules

7.1 DOA Conditions

DOA claim may be considered only if:

  • product is tested properly
  • product shows immediate failure
  • no misuse exists
  • no burn marks exist
  • no physical damage exists
  • claim window is valid

Ainan reserves right to inspect before approval.

8. WARRANTY POLICY

Warranty, where applicable, shall apply only to eligible products and only subject to the conditions defined in this Policy.

Warranty coverage varies by product category.

Not all products carry warranty.

8.1 Product Categories with Limited Warranty

Certain eligible electronic products may carry limited warranty, subject to manufacturer terms or Ainan-supported warranty terms.

Examples may include:

  • power supplies
  • adapters
  • pencil supplies
  • controllers
  • timer controllers
  • selected electronic accessories

Warranty duration, if applicable, may vary by product and batch.

8.2 Product Categories with No Warranty

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the following categories generally carry no warranty:

  • LED modules
  • LED strips
  • neon flex
  • RGB strips/modules
  • consumables
  • wires
  • connectors
  • rigid bars
  • tools
  • cutters
  • pliers
  • hand tools
  • installation accessories

These products are considered usage-sensitive or consumable products.

9. BURNING / CONSUMABLE PRODUCTS DISCLAIMER

Certain products have natural operational life and are categorized as burning / consumable products.

These include but are not limited to:

  • LED modules
  • LED strips
  • neon flex
  • RGB lighting products
  • illumination products
  • display lighting products

Such products naturally degrade over time due to usage conditions.

9.1 No Warranty on Burn Span Completion

Buyer acknowledges that burning products have limited operational life depending on:

  • usage hours
  • voltage stability
  • environment
  • heat exposure
  • moisture
  • load conditions
  • installation quality

Failure after operational usage or burn-span completion does not constitute manufacturing defect.

Such failures are generally non-warrantable.

10. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Warranty shall be void and no replacement/refund shall be provided if damage occurs due to reasons outside verified manufacturing defect.

10.1 Electrical Misuse

No warranty applies in cases involving:

  • overvoltage
  • undervoltage
  • voltage fluctuation
  • short circuit
  • overload
  • wrong power input
  • wrong wiring
  • reverse polarity
  • loose connections
  • electrical surge

10.2 Direct 220V Damage

This clause is extremely important.

Products designed for low-voltage operation such as:

  • LED modules
  • LED strips
  • neon products
  • RGB modules

must be operated only with appropriate compatible power systems.

If such products are directly connected to 220V AC power and become damaged, burned, or short-circuited, no warranty, replacement, or refund shall apply.

Such damage is treated as buyer-side misuse, not manufacturing defect.

10.3 Physical & Environmental Damage

Warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • water exposure
  • moisture
  • rust
  • heat
  • fire
  • impact
  • breakage
  • crushing
  • bending
  • chemical exposure
  • improper storage

10.4 Installation Errors

Warranty does not cover failures caused by:

  • wrong installation
  • improper load calculation
  • poor workmanship
  • wrong compatibility selection
  • unsafe wiring
  • poor soldering
  • bad joints
  • incorrect mounting

Installation risk remains buyer responsibility.

11. MANUFACTURING DEFECT POLICY

Replacement or return may be considered where genuine manufacturing defect is verified.

Manufacturing defect generally means product failure due to inherent defect existing before normal usage.

11.1 Eligible Manufacturing Defect Cases

Examples may include:

  • unused defective product
  • dead-on-arrival electronics
  • factory defect
  • internal component failure without misuse
  • sealed defective unit

Claim approval remains subject to inspection.

11.2 Non-Manufacturing Defects

The following are generally not manufacturing defects:

  • burn after misuse
  • overload damage
  • wrong voltage damage
  • post-installation damage
  • customer mishandling
  • physical breakage
  • accidental damage

12. WRONG PRODUCT / WRONG SHIPMENT

If Ainan ships the wrong product or wrong quantity due to Ainan-side fulfillment error, return or replacement may be approved.

12.1 Eligible Cases

Examples:

  • wrong color shipped
  • wrong specification shipped
  • wrong voltage variant shipped
  • wrong size shipped
  • wrong quantity shipped

Such claims must be reported promptly.

13. RETURN SHIPPING RESPONSIBILITY

Shipping responsibility depends on cause of return.

13.1 Ainan-Side Error

If issue is due to:

  • wrong shipment
  • verified manufacturing defect
  • verified missing item

Ainan may choose to bear reasonable return/replacement logistics cost.

13.2 Buyer-Side Issue

If issue arises due to:

  • wrong purchase
  • misuse
  • installation mistake
  • preference change
  • compatibility mistake

Buyer shall bear all shipping and related costs.

14. REPLACEMENT TIMELINE

Approved replacement timelines may vary depending on:

  • stock availability
  • supplier response
  • inspection results
  • logistics timelines

Replacement processing may take reasonable business time.

Immediate replacement is not guaranteed.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ainan’s liability regarding physical products shall be limited to one or more of the following remedies at Ainan’s discretion:

  • replacement
  • repair
  • refund of product value
  • store credit

Ainan shall not be liable for indirect losses including:

  • business loss
  • installation cost
  • labor cost
  • project delay
  • customer penalties
  • lost profits

16. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

This Policy shall be governed by laws of India.

Disputes shall first attempt mutual resolution.

If unresolved, courts located in: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
